What do patients ask us most?
These questions come from thousands of real patient calls to our helplines — so they're the ones you probably have too. Can't find yours? Ask the chat assistant (bottom right) or call 099297 11555.
Doctors & OPD Timings
What are the OPD timings?+
OPD runs in two sessions, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, on working days. Individual doctors sit on specific days — check the doctor’s profile page for their OPD days and sessions before travelling, or call 099297 11555 to confirm.
How do I know if my doctor is sitting today?+
Each doctor’s profile on this site shows their OPD days and sessions. OPD rosters can change — for same-day confirmation, call or WhatsApp the helpline before you travel.
Which days does each department run OPD?+
Department pages list their doctors with each doctor’s OPD sessions. Hospital OPD runs 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM; individual doctors’ sessions vary. Confirm on the department page or by phone before visiting.
Appointments
How do I book an appointment?+
Use the Book Appointment button on any page — it opens a short online form (you can also message our WhatsApp assistant). Share the patient’s name, the department or doctor, and your preferred day; the appointment desk confirms your slot. Emergency cases never need an appointment.
How do I book a surgical consultation?+
Book a surgical consultation the same way as any OPD appointment — use the online Book Appointment form and ask for the surgery OPD. Bring previous reports, X-rays and prescriptions so the surgeon can advise you in a single visit where possible.
RGHS / Ayushman & Insurance
Is the hospital empanelled for RGHS?+
Yes — the hospital is empanelled under the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS), which gives cashless treatment to state government employees, pensioners and their families. Bring your RGHS card and ID; see the RGHS & Ayushman page for the full process.
How does cashless insurance work here?+
For planned admission, your insurer or TPA pre-authorises treatment before or at admission; in emergency, cashless admission is given on photo ID and intimation to the insurer as per IRDAI norms. Carry your policy card and ID. See the Insurance & TPA page for details.
Tests & Reports
When will my lab report be ready and how do I collect it?+
Report turnaround depends on the test — routine blood tests are usually same-day, while specialised tests take longer. The lab team tells you the expected time at sample collection. Reports can be collected from the lab counter; ask the team about report delivery options when you book the test.
Is MRI available at the hospital?+
No — MRI is not available at the hospital at present. CT scan, digital X-ray, ultrasound and CBCT are available in-house. If your doctor advises an MRI, the team will guide you on where to get it done, and your treatment continues here with the report.
Admission & Discharge
What documents do I need for admission?+
Generally you need a photo ID of the patient, the treating doctor’s referral or admission note, previous reports and prescriptions, and your insurance / TPA / RGHS / Ayushman card if using cashless treatment. See the Admission & Discharge page for the full checklist.
What happens at discharge?+
At discharge the treating doctor finalises your discharge summary, medicines and follow-up advice. The billing desk settles the account (or completes cashless paperwork), and you receive your discharge summary, reports and prescriptions. Keep these safe — you will need them for follow-up and insurance.
Hospital Information
Where is the hospital and how do I reach it?+
Raj Jindal Hospital & Research Centre is at S.P.M Nagar, Near Rajasthan Pollution Office, Bharatpur, Rajasthan 321001. Use the map on the Contact page for directions from your location. Parking is available at the hospital.
What do I do in an emergency?+
Call the 24/7 emergency number 070732 48908 immediately, or bring the patient directly to the emergency entrance — no appointment is needed. This emergency number is different from the general helpline; save it in your phone.
Is there a pharmacy and ambulance service?+
The hospital provides round-the-clock emergency services and in-house support services for admitted patients. For current availability of a specific service, call the helpline — the team will confirm before you travel.
