Which tests can you get done here?
The hospital's in-house diagnostics support OPD and admitted patients — blood and urine tests, imaging and cardiac investigations. For any specific test, call 099297 11555 or ask at the diagnostics counter to confirm availability and any preparation needed (like fasting) before you come.
Pathology lab
Routine blood, urine and biochemistry tests — blood counts, sugar, lipids, liver and kidney function, thyroid and infection markers. Routine reports are usually same-day.
Imaging
Imaging such as X-ray and ultrasound supports diagnosis across departments. Availability of a specific scan should be confirmed at the counter before visiting.
Cardiac & other investigations
Tests such as ECG support physician and pre-surgical evaluation. Your doctor will advise which investigations your condition needs.
Our Blood Centre
A full in-house blood centre, not a storage point — collection, testing, component separation and cross-matching all happen here, round the clock.
Every unit screened
All units are screened for HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C before issue.
True component separation
Packed red cells, platelets and plasma are separated and issued as distinct components — what is labelled platelets is platelets.
Voluntary donors
Units come from voluntary donors and organised donation camps — never paid donors.
Cold-chain delivery
Blood moves in a maintained cold chain, with a donor accompanying the delivery where one is required.
Parallel processing, not sequential
Cross-matching begins the moment a sample arrives; if a donor is needed, bleeding runs at the same time instead of afterwards — which is where most of the waiting usually comes from.
When will my report be ready, and how do I collect it?
Turnaround depends on the test — routine blood tests are generally reported the same day, while specialised tests can take longer. The lab team tells you the expected time when your sample is collected. Reports are collected from the lab counter; ask the team about report delivery options when you book your test. "Is my report ready?" is one of the most common calls we receive — calling the helpline with your registration details is the fastest way to check.
